Where can I get a flu vaccine for my Y8 child?

The private clinic where I have got him vaccinated for the past several years has closed and I have no idea where to get him a vaccine this year. The NHS programme has been expanded to include Y7, but every time they do this, my DS misses out by one year! Any ideas? Sainsburys will only do over 16s.

Oh and he's not in a vulnerable group - we just like to get him vaccinated so he's not ill with flu.

Boots do private children’s vaccines my son had men b there wen he was about 4 as we missed it in the nhs schedule by about a year the only thing is that I’m not sure at 11/12 if they’d need the nose spray for kids which is live or the injection for adults not live ? Ask at boots and even a nice local chemist might know

I’m sure Boots do over 12s. But not all stores.

A year 8 child can definitely have the injection form - my 9 year old (not year 9) did a couple of weeks ago.

Thank you! I've found another private clinic locally who will do it. Our local Boots is only doing vulnerable groups at the moment, which he doesn't fall into.
