my 4 year has a bit of a medical background and is quite delayed (currrently under a peaditrician / communtity peadiatrician to discuss autism/ global developmnetal delay)

anyway so he regularly has high tempartures that last 24 hours with no other symptons, i have been documenting it down when he has his temps and over the last 3 months he has one roughly every 2 weeks but its been happing for id say a year now . sometimes ive noticed its when his not had a poo for a while but the latest temp his got he has been regular.

not normaly an issue we stay at home we get cosy and we deal with it but now his at school we cant do this and of course with covid regulations any slight talk of a high temp we must isolate and get a test which yes i agree but i know my child and i know that he has regular high temps. so where do i go with this.? it hasnt been looked into as ive never brought it up to the specilist but i do feel now is the time i cant keep taking him out of school surely but i do feel thats the way its going to go, what could be possible reasons for the temps . does your children suffer with the same thing? has it ever been invesitgated? who did you talk to first about it?

If he's regularly constipated he could be suffering from UTI? There is some sort of link there with the pressure from the constipation causing a partial blockage which can lead to UTI. DD had this once but she does suffer from chronic constipation and has now been on Movicol for two years.
