11 month old with painful poos

My LG has been struggling with her bowel movements since starting on solids at 6 months. She normally goes 3-7 days between poos. When she does poo they are huge, and hard! She absolutely screams the house down when she poos as she is in absolute agony. We are now in a vicious cycle and have been for some time. The longer she goes without pooing the more cranky and irritable she becomes. It affects her sleep and therefore mine. When she eventually she has her giant poos. And I get one or two nights of better sleep, before this all starts again. She breastfeeds three times a day and has water with every meal. I try and give her fruit with every meal. She's had prune sachets as well as an array of fruit. It's not made a blind bit of difference to the size or regularity of her poos.
I'm pretty sure the reason she holds off pooing for as long possible is because when she finally goes it's excruciatingly painful for her. Is there anything I can do to help with this. I hate seeing her in pain and I just want to try and make things better for her

My dd was the same, had a very slow bowel as a little one.
She relised when she went it was sore so took to holding it in even when she was ready to go.
I took her tot he doctors and the prescribed lactolous and when that didnt work movicol( it been renamed to something else i think now)
Definitely get her to the doctor. It left my dd with a horrible fear of going to the loo for a good while until it was under control. Good luckFlowers
