DD has lots of leg veins appearing

DD is 14 and over the last few weeks has had lots of purple veins appearing on her bottom and down her legs.

She did not tell me at first but I saw them when she was getting changed. They are upsetting her due to the appearance and she says they sting.

Is this something that the drs can help with as I have no idea what will help her.

Puberty, growth spurt, etc. My dd has pretty bad ones on the back of her knees/legs and on her breasts. Its very common

Stretch marks appear when you grow quickly. Sounds likely that's what it is, everyone I knew when I was at school had them to various degrees of severity.

Thanks, is there anything we can do to help ease them?

not really I don't think. Maybe moisturise regularly

I agree, it's the same as pregnancy stretch marks, I think if you're going to get them then you're going to get them and there's not much you can do. They will fade eventually.
