Warning - tooth close-up! Wobbly tooth sitting on gum, won't come out

DD (12) has a tooth that started feeling loose about a year ago, she reckons. The adult tooth has grown in nicely, but the baby tooth is now lodged at 90 degrees against her gum.

It's not causing her pain, the gum doesn't look inflamed, but I'm becoming a bit concerned that it's difficult for her to brush effectively, and wondering whether we need to check in with a dentist on this.

Does anyone know whether this merits removal?

Thanks!

Dentist here Just give it a good push from the tongue side towards the cheek. Will hurt for a second and then it’s done.

@Powerfulpam eek, thanks so much. Your username in combination with your advice cracked me up Grin

Won't attempt this evening as she's a bit tired and grumpy, but may give it a go in the morning...

Thank you!

Oh God ds1 had several like this. We pulled the last one out during lockdown because it was bothering him so much. He's very squeamish so didnt like to wiggle it around with his tongue like a normal child ds2 who would pretty much yank them out.
