For the last couple of days my son who is 14 months has been having these red, slightly raised blotchy patches appear on his face. They completely dissappear after a nap or sleep, but slowly return when he's awake. He suffers from bad eczema, but this seems nothing like it, and as I said comes on pretty suddenly and disappears pretty quickly too... But it keeps coming back.
It looks like allergy reaction, but we've not changed anything and I for the life of me can't find an obvious trigger.
