8 year old not quite right, could it be a vitamin deficiency?

Hello,
My DS, 8 years old, has always been skinny and pale. He also seems to have shot up in height since the lockdown. This seems to have resulted in him looking very drawn, and pale. He hasn't been eating as much as he would eat during normal school routine. I have given him extra snacks, and extra bowl or cereal here and there. Cereal is Weetabix or shredded wheat, porridge occasionally. He has had a chronic cough during lockdown, following chest infections in the household. This has now almost gone, to now be replaced with a very mild cold. He doesnt have a runny nose, but sounds like he has a cold, no temperature etc. He said he has had mild leg pain, which we have put down to growing pains. He has been tested for ceoliac years ago, came back negative ( family history). He currently has Bassett chewable multi vitamin, but I'm wondering if it could be a vitamin deficiency that could be causing him a low immune system. Particularly iron and vitamin d. Are there are other brands that would be better for him to take?
Thank you for reading!

How much time does he spend outdoors? His Vitamin D should be ok if he's getting enough time outside.

A lot of the bassetts only have 5micrograms of d rather than 10.
Was it covid do you think?
Dd1 had a fever then runny nose then day 8 a cough (that lasted 8w).
But maybe had a new runny nose at about 5w.
Improved with some sunshine and time.
