Child complains of stomach aches

We are not a slim family, with the exception of my 8 yr old, who is very slim and whilst he does love chocolate he's happiest eating fruit and veg etc.

However recently he's been complaining of stomach aches almost tearful after dinner. He doesn't have a big appetite and rarely asks for snacks. Yesterday he forgot to pull the flush after a poo and and I noticed it was quite light / almost mustard yellow.

I'm wary of taking him to the doctors at the moment but just wondered if any had experience of anything similar with their child?

Just don't know if I should be worried?

I would get it checked. It could just be something he's eaten, but I know when they were testing dd for gluten intolerance (esp coeliac) that was one question that the doctors had.
