Daughter 14 long term vomiting on NG tube

I wonder if anyone out there has any similar experience and could help?
My daughter has been vomiting regularly for over 6 months. She lost so much weight that she was hospitalised early December and in January. She can’t eat anything and is now fed through an NG tube through her nose into her stomach. She has had lots of medical and psychological tests none of which have come up with a diagnosis. If she eats anything at all she is sick. She is sometimes sick whilst on the NG tube feed. We have very good support for our local hospital but they don’t know what’s causing it. I am very obviously very worried about her and would welcome any advice / experience you may have of similar circumstances or any help. Thank you.

My son has very similar symptoms but not as severe as your dd. He was diagnosed with rumination syndrome a few months ago.

In the series Diagnosis om Netflix there was a case about a girl with those symptoms. Might be worth watching in case there's something helpful.

Thank you both very much. Will look into rumination and watch Netflix. I hope your ds is doing well elliejjtiny.

Cyclical vomiting?

elliejjtiny · 22/04/2020 00:53

@meesey thankyou. Ds was vomiting up to 10 times a day at his worst last summer but with careful management it's now 2-3 times a week which is a lot more manageable.

Thanks @flutterby31 but that’s been ruled out already.
@elliejjtiny that’s really good to hear - but it’s hard to watch them be sick so much. It becomes normal then suddenly you think this isn’t normal at all! I feel so awful that I can’t fix this for her.
