My baby girl had a seizure while nursing

My daughter has epilepsy and has 1-4 seizures a day every few days. I was nursing today and she started seizing, her jaw clamped down causing her to bite the hëll out of my nipple. She’s 17 months so she has teeth. She’s not supposed to have anything in her mouth ever when she’s seizing but she was clamping down so hard I couldn’t take my nipple out. It scared the living hëll out of me, trying to pull it out of her mouth so she wouldn’t choke. We ended up having to go to the hospital, and I had to get stitches on my boob. Shes going to have to stay in the hospital for I don’t know how long and I’m scared hospital, germs, corona. I’m freaking out, the worst part is I can’t stay with her because I have other kids who need me and my boyfriend is essential personal so I’m alone.

Oh you poor thing, that's such a worry (not to mention your poor boob!), hopefully it will be a short hospital stay if she usually has seizures. Has she had to stay in before? Do you have an idea how long for? I'm guessing they will make it as short as possible.

Can’t your boyfriend take some time off seeing as it’s an emergency? Is she used to being away from you, I’d get him to stay home. He would if he was their dad surely.

Ouch!!

Hope she’s ok

Hopefully this will be a funny story to tell when she’s older?
