13 month old swollen neck gland for 7 months

At a routine appointment 7 months ago a GP noticed a swollen gland on my DD neck.

She said it was probably nothing to worry about and would be gone in 6-8 weeks. Unfortunately it didn’t go down and after a few more trips to the Drs she was referred to see a pead specialist.

Was advised the wait could be up to 8 months so we went private. At this stage the gland was getting bigger (the consultant did say it wasn’t actually bigger but another gland beside it has now started to swell). The private consultant gave her a full physical examination to check her spleen and many other things and said he was sure it was noting serious and could take up to 6 months to fully reduce. At this it was 3 months in. He ordered blood work as he knew I was worried it was leukemia or lymphoma or something sinister. Thankfully it all cane back normal and I tried to give it more time.

It stayed the same size and then three months later I got her public appointment through. I attended that as I thought there’d be no harm. This Dr was in agreement, didn't think it was anything to worry about as it was easily moved and not too big. She did say one result on the original blood work showed blood cells sticking together which apparently will show for 5/10 children tested and reordered this and said if I didn’t hear back it was fine.

I haven’t heard anything back and that was last month. However, tonight I noticed even more glands now swollen in her neck, close to where the original glands are.

I’m worried sick, could it be something they are missing? Has anyone had their children have swollen glands for 7 months or more?

I’m trying to trust in the Drs but when it’s your baby it’s hard. They have said they are happy to not even bring her back in for review so I don’t know what to do.

I’m hoping someone will have had a similar experience that turned out ok.

Sorry for the essay!
