How worried should I be about international travel during outbreak?

Who has travelled with a baby during past global outbreaks? Swine flu etc.... we are travelling to Australia next month with a 2hr stopover in Singapore. I realise I'm probably over reacting but I have an 8 month old and I'm getting more worried about taking her on an international flight through Asia right now. Airline won't change our leg as Singapore isn't in the danger list. It's not like she would wear a mask!!

If it's just a stopover at the airport I think you're safe, they will now have lots of measures in place to detect anyone with even just the symptoms of the virus from entering the airport.
Make sure you take hand sanitiser, baby doesn't touch her mouth, nose etc (if you can stop that) and baby wipe her hands down regularly, just to minimise your risk.
