4 months ago I was diagnosed positive for coeliac disease as I was having diarrhea every morning, feeling tired all the time, started losing weight and suffered terrible anxiety. I have been gluten free for 4 months and no longer suffer with diarrhea. However I am now worried my 2 year old son might have inherited coeliac disease. He is often gassy after eating bread he is constipated most days and he has to eat Ella's kitchen prunes to help him go. He sometimes cries and screams with tummy ache that soon settles if he has calpol. He is normal weight and height of 30lbs and 90cm. What age can he get a blood test done for coeliac disease? Does anyone have a child that had constipation as a main symptom?

He can have the blood test any age. If you're concerned then it's worth going to see the gp for advice. Maybe keep a food diary for a week before you see them and document what hes eating and if he has any symptoms?
