Wondering if anyone has any ideas about what has happened.

My daughter has a problem with something, I think food related. We had an allergy blood test 3 weeks ago and waiting for the results.

Last week Monday and Tuesday with her dad she was given something which set off a reaction. Monday night she started clearing her throat and when he brought her back she kept coughing. I put her to bed and she woke constantly swallowing then around 2 am started coughing and vomited. Tues he gave her something and he said her lips swelled and hives on her face. When he brought her home she could not stop clearing her throat and coughing. I called 111 who heard her and sent out an ambulance. We spent 5hrs in A and E until piriton kicked in and she stopped coughing. Her lungs were clear they said her oxygen situation fine.

On the Thursday afternoon she starts getting a fever 39.6 and completely off her food says her stomach hurts. Friday morning she was sick once in the morning and nothing since. But she complained of stomach pain and her fever continued till yest. She doesn’t still want to eat anything and her poo (sorry) has turned from light yellow to whitey/beige. She is playing but not herself. Is poo this colour normal?

Do you think the two events are related or could she have picked up a stomach bug from the hospital

Hi, sorry to hear your little one has been poorly, and hope she feels better soon.

I looked up this in the past so wanted to reply! My DS gets this if he has had a really upset tummy, whether it's been from his milk allergy, or when he has had a bug. It seems like it's his body's way of getting everything out of his system. There's also so many bugs out there at the moment so it could be one, or the other, or a combo.

It might be worth keeping an eye on things to see if it doesn't change after a couple of nappies. Hope she gets better soon.
