My LG (18 months) has hand foot and mouth pretty severe on her hands and looks very sore been to docs they can't give anything to ease pain (wasn't very impressed with doctor we saw), went to a pharmacist after to ask as she is in a lot of pain and he said I could give her cream used to sooth chicken pox. I've bought it and got home and now I'm questioning myself, will it make it worse putting this on her?

We were just told to use piriton for itching and calpol for pain relief. You can also use ibuprofen (unlike with CP). We also put calamine lotion on the spots too.
