15 month old pulling at nappy and seems in discomfort

Hi,

My 15 month old has these episodes where she grabs at the front of her nappy, lifts her legs up in the air in a sort of splits position and makes grunting noises like she is in some discomfort. Sometimes if she is holding an object she will also hold that against her nappy too. There is no redness or obvious sign of anything wrong. I thought perhaps it might be worms and she just couldn't reach right round to the back but I cant see any and it happens in the day as much as at night. I've spoken to the doctors over the phone and they wont see me because I said it doesnt appear red or sore!

I know its normal for little boys to pull at their bits but is it normal for girls too? I dont think that is what she is doing as she does look uncomfortable. This happens maybe once a day at the moment.

Anyone experienced anything similar?
