DD has just turned 4 and is often complaining of a sore vulva and it looks red and inflamed. We’ve been back and forth to the drs numerous times and they just say thrush and prescribe canaeston. Is there anything else I can be doing? and I don’t know if this cream is ok to use every few weeks. Am I just creating super thrush?!

I've no idea about medicine but to does she wipe front to back or back to front? Cos front to back should help prevent it.

For the pain I'd recommend cold compresses (ice cubes in hankies etc.)

I'd assume that if the same Dr is prescribing it then it's ok to use as often as prescribed. You could try asking a pharmacist?
