Toddler fell off bed- what to do?

I co-sleep and just woke up to the sound of the radiator clanging as my toddler fell off the bed. It was dark so took a second to find her, but I heard a little whimper and found her sitting up on the floor. Picked her up and stuck her on the boob- she fed for a bit then rolled over and went to sleep. She's now sleeping quite soundly but does still respond if I tap her or move her. I've looked her over with a torch but can see no signs of redness or swelling on her head or face (haven't checked elsewhere due to pyjamas and sleeping bag). She's 14 months old.

Do I need to seek medical advice? Feel dreadful. She's never fallen from the bed (or moved at night without me waking) before and we do have a bed guard but she was on the other side for feeding purposes (not usually an issue but DH not in bed tonight). She doesn't tend to move in her sleep, but will when stirring. I'm very shaken.

She will be fine. She was sleeping so will have been floppy and relaxed and the fall from a bed isn't far and it wasn't with force.

I agree. Try to go back to sleep she sounds fine x

She’ll be fine. Dd used to chuck herself off the side of the bed if I didn’t wake up quickly enough to bf! I bought a bed guard and put pillows on her side of the bed.

Thank you for the reassurance. Very hard to sleep, but my heart rate is slowly returning to normal.

I probably need a guard on the other side too, but the weird thing is that she was near the bottom of the bed, so I don't know whether she woke and was trying to climb down or just rolled off when trying to resettle herself.

I'm not medically trained so hopefully someone with better advice will come along soon, but my toddler has fallen out of bed a handful of times and has always been absolutely fine. You've checked her head which is the most important thing. I'm sure she's fine.

My daughter fell out of bed all the time. I'd check for any obvious cuts or bumps, but wouldn't worry unless she starts acting funny.
