Out of hours or can it wait until tomorrow?

DS (4) has had a temperature all day, which is now coming down without the aid of Calpol. I thought it was just a standard children's viral infection, but I've just noticed that he had a little ball of pus on a grazed knee 🤢

I have smothered it with antiseptic cream and was going to take him to GP but is it more urgent than that? Do I need to get him an out of hours appointment?

Just to add, there's no sign of any redness spreading from the wound, just the bubble of pus (about the size of a ball bearing)

To be honest I’d just cover with germalene and check on him regularly, especially if his temperature was going down. Not sure if that’s the best think though!
