Bloody stool+bloody wee baby

Hi there👋
My 7 old baby is having stool with mashed blood inside and outside, so it’s not from any damage of the anus. Also he’s wee is like pink, not all the wee, but I can notice a light pink mark in the nappy. The gp told to keep an eye on it and it might be from constipation but I’m not sure cuz the blood it’s not like fresh blood and it’s also in his wee 😕
He also seems in pain and tights when pooing
Ever happened to your babies?

I haven't googled this so I'm not sure how common it is, but as a bit of a sceptic I'd honestly just head straight to a hospital If my baby had these symptoms.

JeremyCorbynsCoat · 27/07/2019 11:42

I'd be right up to the hospital for that

Take him to A&E

7 month old or 7 week old? At 7 months I may first wonder if he had eaten something that may present like this (beetroot??) but otherwise i would be going to A&E to get him checked out. How is he in himself? Is he feeding? Any fever?

babysharkah · 27/07/2019 11:58

He’s 7 months sorry I haven’t written correct
But I took him to the gp and also talked with the health visitor and they just said keep an eye on it, but today he hasn’t any blood in his stool or in his wee 😕
He hasn’t tried beetroot yet 🙈
He doesn’t have any fever and he’s feeding like always
Also I gave him syrup for constipation cuz gp gave us on Thursday, maybe that worked
A&E we have been before cuz when he was 3 months he had musuc and he still does, but once I noticed blood and they said it’s something for the gp to take care of it and I should wait till Monday and take him back to gp to notice him about the blood cuz it was weekend when he had blood ( it was like old blood and a little amount like 2-3 dots of water ) but it didn’t happen anymore and also they took stool sample and said it’s fine
now it was like small micro pieces of blood and not only on the surface but in the hole stool and also in the wee and that’s why I’m a bit worried and I wasn’t happy with his answer and wanted to know if ever happened to any one else
