Are my PMT hormones affecting my pre-teen daughter?

I get a day of really horrible PMT (feeling overwhelmed, under pressure, persecuted, depressed) each cycle. Obviously, it’s horrible but I have it under control. I recently noticed my 10 year old daughter, who is on the verge of puberty, seems to be particularly horrible around the same time. Is this just my perception because I’m feeling awful, being horrible myself and so affecting her behaviour? Could it be my hormones somehow affecting her directly? Sounds a bit witch-doctory but does it happen?
