The LO started proper solids a couple of weeks ago but was a 2 poo a day kinda girl prior. Now your lucky if she poops once every 3 days and she’s getting awful moody about it. Tummy is still soft and she gets her gas out easy enough so not overly worried but is this normal? She’s breastfed and teething badly too.

My DS went through some bowel habit changes around that time too. He struggled to digest bananas at first so we cut them out for a while and it all regulated again.

Try introduce a bit more fluid into her diet, and maybe scale back some solids temporarily or introduce something a bit softer.

My youngest had a hard transition and got quite constipated going from breast milk only to solids, in the end we gave him a small amount prune purée a couple times a week, upped his water intake and reduced the food we gave him until he was a little older and it sorted itself out.

She’s only really had veggies so far except a little Ella’s kitchen apple and strawberries pouch I got when I was out one day, I’ll maybe speak to the Dr about her diet and see if i need to be more careful cause she’s got CMPA

I’ve been giving her sippy cups of water but she’s not much interested, she gets one tablespoon of solid a day and sometimes barely eats it. Maybe prune purée would be a good thing to try!

Pear purees are good for the bowels!
