Best sun cream for baby with eczema

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a good, delicate sun cream? DS is 11 months and gets flare ups of eczema which often need a steroid cream (elocon). The first time this happened was on holiday and with the good weather we've had recently it's happened again after using sun cream. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

There was a thread today or yesterday about a rash from suncream-lots of suggestions on there if you can find it!

This one is the only one my ds didn’t react too as a baby and toddler. I was prescribed it however they will no longer do this. He is now 7 and is fine using Calypso brand which is available from home bargains and b&m.

Tbh different things suit different people. Last year I went round the manufacturer’s Facebook pages asking nicely for samples. I think the La Roche Posay one was ok, and maybe the sunsense one. We’ve relied heavily on covering up. Much easier. H&M do really —cheap quality— thin cotton long sleeved tops, and they also do UV suits for swimming / beach.

Thank you @moreismore not sure how I managed to miss that 😳

I cover him as much as possible but with our very pale Scottish skin I'm happier with a cream too just incase a bit of skin sees the sun for once 🙈

@AxCap I have been using Aldi baby suncream for DD hasn't made her eczema any worse, I just make sure its washed of before bed and moisturised xx

AxCap · 24/04/2019 08:39

@HJWT unfortunately that's the one he's taken a really bad reaction to this year. His face was red and swollen 😢 I washed it off with some cold water and it calmed down quite quickly thankfully. Last year Nivea caused a rash but no swelling at least.

Badger sunscreen used to improve my baby's eczema, I swear! Just google it or I used to get it on itchybaby.co.uk. it's zinc based.

(He is now a primary aged child and eczema better, thank God!)

Green people
Also today I noticed that’s Child’s Farm have started doing sunscreen (their body lotion has received good reviews from eczema sufferers)
