Hairdresser noticed a small bald patch; just took DD to GP, he said there's nothing to do for now but to observe, and return in 2 months or so if patch gets bigger.

He wouldn't refer to blood tests.

I am worried sick.

Is there anything I can do? Should I insist on blood tests? Are there any supplements that might help?

Poor her. I have alopecia and nothing realllly made any difference for me but I have had punch samples taken and I have scaring allopecia so a different kind to your dd

I’d push for a referral to a dermatologist ASAP tbh

Is it completely smooth?
Ask for referral to dermatologist.

Ah op. That's tough. I had aa and lost all my hair. It grew back though.

Aa is autoimmune so nothing they can do, but maybe push for a dermatologist referral. They can offer different steroid creams and a wig if it gets to that point x

It's a circle that's about 1 cm and feels rough almost as if hair was growing?
