3YO with diarrhoea and a 2 week old in the house

3 year old DS has started having diarrhoea this afternoon. I have a 2 week old baby in the house. How do I stop her catching it? What do I do if she does get it? I've cleaned the bathroom thoroughly and will make sure I put bleach down the loo and dettol the seat every time DS uses it. Also keeping on top of hand washing for everyone.

that's pretty much all you can do. its quite a hard situation. my 3yo recently had the same but luckily no one else caught it. I have a 4yo as well. I just did pretty much what you are doing too

Hand washing and ideally toddler doesn't touch baby for at least 24 hours after last symptom. Make sure no adults share food with toddler either

Thanks - that's a good point about sharing food, too. I feel like I need to disinfect the whole house!
