Every couple of weeks my 3 yr getting a runny nose then gets chesty with a cough. She was in hospital on an inhaler with a viral wheeze at the start of Feb and at the end of Feb it happened again but I had the spacer and they told me to use it if she needed it and it cleared up. It's now happened again. The nurse told me viral wheezes only usually occur under 3 and I'm wondering why it's happening. I'm not sure if this is a wheeze I havent had her checked over but shes breathing heavy and sometimes fast and sounds chesty but doesn't seem to have a cold just a little runny nose. Should I get her checked for asthma? I'm going to see how she goes and try and get appointment tomorrow if I can to see gp if she doesn't get any better and if she gets worse I'll take to walk in or a&e. She just seems to be getting it alot since Feb when she's never had it before.
