Should add, totally well in herself, has eczema which has just had a flare up. Had typhoid travel vaccine yesterday.
But she has been around a child with scabbed over chicken pox Sad

I’m watching with interest. My ds has similar looking spots but not so many (about six or seven on tummy and back of legs) but they are very itchy. I think it could be the chicken pox.

Fraula · 12/03/2019 21:37

Have you done the glass check, in case?

No idea... sorry. Are they itchy? Mine have all just had a virus with a rash, but it wasn't chicken pox.

needsleepzzz · 12/03/2019 21:38

She's not scratching so no idea if it's bothering her, bloody virus Angry

Did the rash look anything like this? She has had the chicken pox vaccine too

In my experience if you think it's Chicken Pox it probably is. When my two DC had
It they weren't poorly until a few days after the spots appeared. They weren't itchy at that point either

Random18 · 12/03/2019 23:18

To me it’s really not clear.
When my DD has chickenpox it was clear that it was.

If it blisters in the morning then that’s what it is but I’m not convinced at all.

favabeanpyramidscheme · 12/03/2019 23:50

Are there blisters?

If not, could it be roseola?

needsleepzzz · 13/03/2019 06:23

Still no blisters/itching or illness

It doesn't look typical for CP to me OP. Have you checked that it blanches? I would probably get it checked out, and I'm not one to rush my DC to the drs. Maybe a reaction to the vaccine?

Tefiti2 · 13/03/2019 09:15

Doesn’t look like typical pox to me either - they should have blisters on them by now.

needsleepzzz · 13/03/2019 09:37

Thanks all, had a GP video call and she doesn't think CP and that it might be inflammed eczema (she's had a flare up), did say get it checked as eczema needs treating based on how it looks. Try and get an apt now Smile
