DD was born 12 weeks premature. She has chronic lung disease but problems only really started (after her initial stay in NICU) when she was 2 years old where she was repeatedly admitted with pneumonia and viral induced wheeze. She is now on prophylactic antibiotics, as well as inhalers, and that seems to be keeping her respiratory problems at bay.
I don't think any of that is relevant, but who knows?
Over the last few weeks she has been complaining of a pain above her right eye or on her forehead. I took her to the GP and she said to get her eyes tested (I haven't been able to get an appointment for her yet). This weekend she was with her Dad and she mentioned at one time that her foot hurt and another time that her ribs hurt. He asked if she had bumped herself on anything but she said she hadn't. When she came back to me last night she said that her chest hurt and her ribs hurt. She was a bit wheezy so I assumed it was related to that. But she later said her stomach hurt and today she has said she feels sick. The rib/chest pain could just be down to her cough (and hopefully it will remain as just a cough) and the pain in her stomach could be related to her feeling nauseous today - two random things just happening at the same time. But with the head pain and foot pain, could this all indicate something else? I've no idea what but she seems to have had a lot of pains lately.
I do get very anxious about her health, based on her history, so I don't know if this is worth a trip to the GP or not. Any advice?
