Chicken pox near eye on baby

My 8 month old has chicken pox and has a couple right by her eye.

Not sure how worried I should be about these. She seems really bothered by them, especially at night and keeps rubbing them.

Does anyone know if you’re meant to see a doctor for this?
I can get a GP appointment first thing tomorrow but reluctant to take a highly contagious child into the surgery if it’s not necessary.

Also any other tips for easing her discomfort welcome. Under 1s can’t have antihistamine, as far as I know. Calpol doesn’t seem to be helping and I don’t want to put any of the creams/ lotions so close to her eye.

See about getting an appointment but do tell them it's CP but that spots near the eye are worrying you. They may prescribe piriton off licence for an under 1.

I wouldn't be too worried. DS2 got a terrible dose of chicken pox including them on his eyeball!!
