My 6 month old is always moving his foot in circles

My baby is 6 months old and over the last few weeks he is always moving his foot in circles it’s always the same foot and it’s when ever he’s awake which is pretty much all the time, he will just sit there and move it around in circles, if he’s being carried he does it too and sometimes he even does it while he’s asleep!!! Should I take him to the dr?

It's not causing him a problem. He's just finding out what his body can do.

My DD used to do this with both feet. She has not long turned a year and doesn't do it as much now. Maybe ask your HV on your next weigh in?

It just seams like he’s got no control over it at all and it just happens and keeps happening and he isn’t even awear of it
