Vomiting in the night no fever?

My 5 year old was sick last Friday in the night. No fever, was fine the next day. We wondered if it was caused by too much junk food. Then the same happened last night, but she was sick twice, again no fever or any other symptoms, and I don't think she ate too badly yesterday. Any ideas what could have caused this? It seems too far apart to be a virus.

Could have been two different viruses.

Could be a lingering virus that is just having a bit of an impact but is hanging around.

Could be diet related, especially if she's over indulged over xmas, cumulative effect maybe
