Panic or Anxiety Attacks about a frightening film

My DS, aged 9, has recently starting having what I think are panic attacks. He is quite anxious generally, but a few weeks ago we were watching the 'Witchunt' episode of Dr Who and it totally terrified him to the point that he was sick. Since then he has has a few other attacks just the same where he says he has been thinking about Dr Who, or a fild (Miss Peregrine!) that we saw a couple of years ago that also really frightened him (we had to leave the cinema as he it really was horrible). I think the Dr Who thing kid of reawakened his memory of Miss Peregrine (the images in both were very similar and quite disturbing), but now he can't get them out of his head. He becomes overwhelmed with fear, usually is sick and then it generally subsides. Anyone else experiences anything similar?
