DS is 2 and I admit I likely have PFB syndrome, but this is his first real fever and I'm just looked my for advice on what to expect and what to look out for, to help me.worry less I suppose!

He took Calpol and some water but then seemed to throw it back up about half an hour later. Since waking up thia morning he's been so drowsy and clinging onto me, so i let him nurse and he fell back to sleep about 45 minutes ago. Is it ok to let him sleep a lot today?

My ds always slept a lot whenever he was ill. Keep an eye on his temperature and give calpol within the recommended dosage. I'm sure he'll be fine in no time.

It's not being PFB your just just being a good mumSmile
38.1 is not worryingly high. I would just let him sleep and feed when he wants, also give him lots of liquids. I always let mine drink squash when they are ill as they will drink a lot more.
Don't forget you can alternate carpool with ibuprofen so they can have some medicine every two hours to keep on top of temperature.
If he's thrown the capol up it might be worth giving him some ibuprofen?
It's horrible the first time they get ill Thanks
