I know it can take a couple of years for periods to settle into a regular cycle. However 16 days seems like an abnormally short cycle. She’s only had 8 cycles and started on when she was 10, but they are impacting her health. She feels lethargic and the cramps effect her quality of life and ability to concentrate at school. Could her short cycles be indicative of an underlying hormonal imbalance?
