DS and painful leg- GP in a week?

So DS is 17, we are currently in Spain on a 10 day holiday- before he starts an apprenticeship in January NHS v proud, given hes had a tough few years. We have been here 4 days have 6 left. He complained his leg hurt saturday, thought nothing to much of it, thought maybe heat, he rested was fine next morning started hurting again about 18:00, noticed the bottom of his knee started to swell again didn't think to much of it. He has just started to complain again noticed the bottom of his knee on the inside side has swollen a little bit more, best i can describe it. What could it be, cyst maybe, understand you will not be able to tell but dont really know what to do in a different country!! Gp appotmnet when we get back in six days?

Ok take it you have travel insurance, I'd see someone now if possible. I'm assuming you flu to Spain yes? He needs checking out before he gets back on a plain with pain and swelling in his leg.

Not a medical expect just what I think I would do in the circumstances.
