2nd week of school and poorly already

DD (10) came home from school with a raging sore throat yesterday, in tears. Temperature and pale. She's been well all through the holidays and months before - but she is the original germ magnet.
Bloody nightmare. Calling the gp at 8 🙄

Sorry to hear that, sounds like it's probably tonsillitis. I hope she recovers quickly. I know how you feel my son is the original germ magnet too and I'm actually dreading this winter. Preschool last year he was sick in his 2nd week of term also and had 2 days off, 2 weeks later he was sick again and had a day off, from there it was pretty much once a month ear infections, viral infections etc.

Tonsils and adenoids already out! 😬

If I've heard viral infection once I've heard it 1000 times! I hope it passes quick for your dd and she can go back to school before long xx
