Ear pain, dizziness and now seeing floaters?

DD (4) has been complaining of ear pain for a couple of weeks now. Last week I took her to the GP who said there was no sign of any problems and that he thought it was referred pain from some mouth ulcers caused by a mild virus.

She is still complaining about it on and off- she isn’t ill and is easily distracted. Yesterday though, she complained that the room was spinning ( although her balance seems normal - she can stand on one leg etc). Now she is telling me she can see floaters?

Any ideas?

She does have glue ear and is due to go for a hearing test next week? Also wondering if I need to cancel this? ( although I am loathe too as they have been monitoring hearing loss for a good while and its not getting better and I think she might need gromits which if this is the case I’d rather happens sooner than later as she starts school in September and is having trouble hearing the sounds she will need to start reading...)

Sorry for the essay but trying not to drip feed.

Maybe get an opticians appointment to check out floaters

The dizziness is likely to be linked though to the ears

good idea quartz, she’s not had her eyes tested before yet so might be a good plan anyway.
