White spot on baby's lip (Photo)

This appeared yesterday morning. Does anyone know what it might be?

The patch is flat, has not changed size and there are no other white spots/patches inside the mouth as far as I can tell. Does not appear to cause discomfort.
Have googled but the only thing I can find is possible thrush? No white tongue though.

Obviously I will go to doctors to check it out but thought it would be useful to post here before I make an apt just in case it is something v common and nothing to worry about.

Hand foot and mouth causes blisters around the mouth I think.

If it was on the top I'd say it was a suck blister. They haven't been teething on any new toys have they?

Thats where my DC1 used to get suck blisters. Often turned into a rough patch on her lip. DC2 never got any, both were BF.

Thanks, I thought maybe a blister from sucking.
Forgot to say, she’s 4 weeks old and ebf. No problems with latch that I know of.

Ah, mine always gets suck blisters at the top. DS2 is ebf too and has still got one at 3 months, I can't remember how long DS1 had one for but I do remember he had one too.

Mine also got suck blisters that looked like this. But drop by the HV clinic and have them take a quick look to confirm.
