Ds being tested for bowel related conditions crohns etc

Ever since he was a baby he has been on laxitives. He either has periods of bad constipation or he has very loose stools. He also soils.

He has now begun to suffer from bad stomach cramps/spasms and reflux which frequently escalates to vomiting.

He is having blood tests and stool samples checked for crohns coeliac and helicobacter.

I don't really know what I'm looking for with this thread. Support and information maybe? I'm so worried. He's only 5.

Does anyone have experience with any of these things? If his tests come back clear.... What else could it be? There's really something not right... I know it in my gut.

have you looked at the ERIC website? While I’m not sure if there is a lot on there about Chrohns /Ibs which are very specific and complex conditions, they do have a link through to their own parent message boards hosted by Health Unlocked. There are lots more parents on there talking about specific bowel issues so you may get more of a response.
