Best sunscreen for kids with eczema? All suggestions welcome!

Hello,
My 3 yr old daughter has had eczema pretty much since birth.
I’d say it’s moderate really but can sometimes flare up more then other times.
I’ve always used standard kids sunscreen (factor 50) and it’s been fine and not caused her any problems. However today when we got in her legs looked worse then normal and there were far more circular patches then she usually gets.

I’m not sure if it’s due to the sun, the sunscreen or something else entirely (the grass we were sitting on for example?!) but it made me think I should buy her a suncream specifically for kids with eczema.

Does anyone use one or have any experience of one that they recommend?

My Dd had quite bad eczema when she was small. It has got better now she is a teenager, just a few patches. Our local hospital has an allergies and skin specialist department. They recommended 'Aussie' sun cream. I was given a number of samples and it was great. Then I couldn't find it in the shops so went for 'Piz Bun' all day and it has been fine. Any coloured sunscreen has always a complete no-no with my DCs.

My daughters eczema seems like your dd op. I haven't found one that does not irritate slightly but I use the amber Solaire for kids the sensitive one. I then ensure I wash it off thoroughly at night and I use her steroid cream each night when using it. I only use the steroid on the little round patches where they pop up not all over. This helps to stop it getting any worse. Will be watching for other recommendations as would be great to find one that didn't irritate at all x

My DS, also 3 has had eczema since about 3 months old. We use Aldi kids Extra Sensitive, it was recommended by our HV when DS was tiny and it has been amazing, she said she used it for her own child with eczema. DS has been smothered in it all weekend and is fine. Bonus is it's only about £3 a bottle

We use "curel", but mostly my ds always wears long sleeves and trousers all the time, never short sleeves or shorts, so we don't need to put sunscreen where he gets eczema.
My ds gets really bad rash after exposed to the grass. Maybe better get tested?

Both myself and my 3 year old get eczema. Mine is triggered by paraben preservatives, so I use brands on the two of us that are paraben free.

I guess it’s a bit of trial and error depending on their skin type.
I had thought the sun might help clear it up for some reason!

We use a roll on 'sunsense' in my three year old with severe excema. Recommended by GP and she can put it on herself with a bit of help. Available from amazon.

We used to use this one though, given the price, you might be better off trying the aldi one first

I used sunsense and ultrasun without too much adverse affect. I preferred ultrasun as it’s more easily absorbed.
