DS (5) has chicken pox at 11 months.

Just before Easter 3/4 spots appeared on his chest that looked like chicken pox and went after a couple of days.

Over Easter Chicken Pox knocked out half the school and is still making its way round.

Yesterday DS gets 3 more spots on chest looking like chicken pox. He's otherwise fine.

I just wondered if you've had it before could these spots be the body fighting it off when it's exposed again?

getting chicken pox under 1 year increases the chance of childhood shingles so if the spots are localised in one area it could be that

My DS and DD both had the pox twice.

DD had it at 3 when DS was 1. She had a wallop and he had just a few spots. Thought we were done with it. Then he turned 4 and came out in almighty pox - hundreds of spots, and then a few days later DD came out in a dozen.

I’m told this is rare(ish) but not unheard of.

I had pox as an adult and in the last 4 years have had mild shingles almost annually to the date I had the pox.

Sounds like shingles, especially if they're appearing in the same place. I'd get it checked.

Possibly molescum contagiosum?
