Two year old - recurring boils, any light at the end of the tunnel?

DD2 (2 and a half years old) developed a large boil on her tummy when we returned from holiday in December which also resulted in a fever. The GP prescribed antibiotics and all ok but this was followed a couple of weeks later by horrible abscess and cellulitis making her really ill (and resulting in 6 nights in hospital). Then within literally a few days of finishing the course of antibiotics from the hospital another spot appeared in a different place. This has happened several times. Staph infection was confirmed when we were in hospital and am obviously whipping her straight to GP as soon as I spot any more.

We have done the antibiotics up the nose and body wash regime for the whole family although none of us have been affected as yet, touch wood. Have used A LOT of Dettol wipes over the past couple of months and am washing towels every day etc.

Bearing in mind we are in March and she has pretty much been on antibiotics since December, I am feeling slightly desperate as worried what all this is doing to her. Anyone ever had anything like this, did you get rid eventually or did it at least calm down?
