Big black verruca on my son's foot

About the size of a 5p piece. We've been treating it with Wartner and it went from a speck to this huge monstrosity. Do I take him to the GP? A chiropodist?

use Salacatol - you can buy it over the counter - works fantastically. Are you rubbing it each day with an emery board to wear it down too?

My son had a monstrous one for months, and then he got a second one too. We used 2 different types of gel, bazuka then one prescribed by GP. Neither worked.

Podiatrist friend took a look, debrided the big one a bit for him and suggested we stop the gels and try duct tape instead. I was sceptical but they were both gone within days. Worth a try!

Incidentally she also advised us not to file it down with an emery board, danger of infection.
