We decided to pay for our 3 children to have the newish Men B vaccine over the Christmas hols. 2 of them were poorly the next day - temperatures and very sore arms, but then fine.
However the 7 year old has continued to be poorly and its now a week later. Symptoms include:
- temperatures on and off
- nausea, loss of appetite and "nearly being sick" when he coughs
- a bit of a cough
- headache / weird head feeling
- lethargic and pale
- achy arm still (other arm is fine) and achy legs
- one episode of diarrhea (today)
- brightens up during the day but goes rapidly downhill from about 4pm onwards
Could this still be side effects of the vaccine, or just bad timing with a virus or similar? Can't decide whether to take him to the docs tomorrow, will have to be off school due to the diarrhea today. Any ideas? Thanks!
