Naturopath / dietician / nutritionist for eczema babies?

For parents of eczema babies...wondering if anyone has has tried a dietician/nutritionist/naturopath (or any other holistic/alternative treatments) for eczema?

We have taken our 2-year-old daughter to several paediatric dermatologists/allergy consultants in London, but they all prescribe the same cocktail of emollients and steroids that clearly isn't working for us (and are not addressing the underlying triggers), so I'm looking to try another route, while we try to tackle the eczema on all other fronts (declaring war on dust, dust mites, synthetics, chemicals, detergents, etc etc...).

Any advice/recommendations appreciated (whether specific recommendations for specialists in London, or general advice based on your experience with alternative therapies). Thank you!

Have you tried going non dairy? And not dietary but have you tried chickweed and calendula or chamomile cream?

DS7 has eczema. He is mostly dairy and gluten free which has really helped and as his eczema seems to be linked to stress we are trying hypnotherapy and meditation.

thank you both - we are just starting elimination diets (cow's milk and gluten). I did buy a cream that has those ingredients but am also going to try making my own cream! pinkliqourice - glad that elimination has helped, and good luck with the meditation therapy

With DS we went dairy free for a year from 16 months and it made a huge difference. He can have dairy now no problem. Skin is fine. He is now 16.
