DS is 12 and has started puberty. He has the usual teenage type blackheads on his face which we treat with clearasil products, but I've recently noticed that he has lots of tiny white little beads/balls in his hair. His head doesn't itch and they are not bothering him but if I run my fingers gently across his scalp lots of these little white bead things appear.
They are about half the size of a mustard seed.
Definitely not head lice or eggs. He has been using anti dandruff shampoo for the last couple of months but it makes no difference.
Any ideas what they could be?
