Crap. Missed 2 doses of amoxicillin. Any HCPs about?

DD is on amoxicillin 3 x day for a uti. She has been on it for a few days. Because it's a Saturday we were out of our normal routine and I totally forgot to give her morning dose this morning before we went out for the day... I remembered at lunchtime when the next dose was due but of course we were out a good 2 hours from home! We got back at 7pm and I gave her a dose as soon a second we got in.

Have I totally ballsed it up? Do I need to wake her up at midnight for another dose to try to make up for one of those we missed? Normally she just has one at breakfast, lunch (or after school) and then last thing before sleep!

NHS website talks about if you miss one dose but not if you have missed two! It just says see your GP but that's tricky on a Saturday night!

I should say DD's uti appears to have cleared up as far as I can tell without a test

Just keep up with the doses from now on. Nothing else you can do. I'd be tempted to wake her at your bedtime for an extra dose, can't hurt. I'm not a HCP, though.

I'd probably wake her up at 1am for another dose to be honest, so 6 hours from the last dose then continue as normal tomorrow. I

Whether you wake her or not, definitely continue the course until the very end.
