what is on my toddlers tongue?

Hi,

Does anyone know what is on my toddlers tongue? Doesn't seem to be bothering him.

He has a temp and runny nose.

Any spots elsewhere? Could it be hand foot and mouth?

Not found any other spots. His face appears to be swelling on one side now. I will give the gp a call.

Hand foot and mouth was my first thought but that wouldn't make his face swell. Allergic reaction?

Thank you both, turns out he has tonsillitis and now has been prescribed penicillin
