Toddler with reoccuring leg cramps?

Hi there,

My 20 month old has been having what I can only describe as cramps in her right leg for about 2 weeks now, has happened 9-10 times.
At first I thought she just had a dead leg from how she was sat but obviously more concerned now as it's reoccuring.
She refuses to put any weight on the leg and is inconsolable for 5/10 minutes each time.
No pattern to it, it has happened at various times of day.
Any ideas?

Firstly I would book a routine GP appointment to get her checked over.

It could be growing pains too. I'd recommend a good quality Epsom salt like westlab or a magnesium spray . It really helps! As does magnesium rich foods :-)

I take it you can't see anything wrong when she gets the pain? I used to have an issue where my kneecap would click out of place, it would be excruciatingly painful but would just pop back again. But you could see that it wasn't right as the leg looked twisted.

No Mrs Castle doesn't look different at all, she tends to hold her foot/shin when it's happening?

Did you see my advice?

Yes we have GP appointment tomorrow, first one that was available!
