Any dentists around? DS toothache, gum round tooth now swollen

DS,9, started to complain of toothache last night. Have been giving him calpol / calprofen, thinking maybe a tooth was coming through.
He is well within himself, but over the last hour or so, the area round the tooth is swollen and deep red.
Googling suggests an infection and is quite scary!
My question is, do we need to do something now (what?!?) or can it wait till the morning?
As I say, he seems quite happy at the moment.

I'm really not a dentist, but just a suggestion if you can't get any help for a bit - anbesol liquid is great for tooth/gum ache. It's currently being used in my house by both my husband for mouth ulcers and my toddler for teething molars. Hope your DS is okay.
